TRUE NORTH AUTO SALON LIABILITY WAIVER

Acknowledgment of Vehicle Disassembly

The customer acknowledges and agrees that the installation of a vinyl wrap may require the removal of certain vehicle components, including but not limited to trim pieces, badges, lights, and door handles. True North Auto Salon is not responsible for any pre-existing damage, wear, or improper installation of these components that may cause issues during reassembly.

Warranty Limitations Non-OEM Surfaces

True North Auto Salon does not provide any warranty on repainted, repaired, or non-OEM surfaces. Wrapped areas on repainted or repaired surfaces are more likely to experience adhesion failure, peeling, or paint removal upon wrap removal. The customer acknowledges this risk and waives any claims against True North Auto Salon regarding damage to non-OEM surfaces.

Vinyl & Workmanship Warranty

  • True North Auto Salon provides a 6-month installation warranty on workmanship, ensuring proper adhesion and application, provided the wrap has been maintained per manufacturer and installer specifications.

  • The customer is also covered under the manufacturer’s vinyl warranty, which is subject to specific conditions and requirements set by the vinyl manufacturer. It is the customer's responsibility to adhere to these guidelines to maintain warranty eligibility.

  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, environmental factors, accidents, or tampering.

Weather & Environmental Factors

The customer understands that exposure to extreme weather conditions, road salt, and environmental contaminants may impact vinyl longevity and appearance. Proper care procedures are required to maintain long-term durability.

Aftercare & Maintenance Responsibilities

To validate the workmanship and manufacturer warranty, the customer agrees to the following maintenance procedures:

  • Hand washing is recommended; avoid automatic car washes.

  • Do not pressure wash at close range or use harsh chemicals.

  • Regular cleaning and care are necessary for best durability and longevity.

  • Failure to follow proper maintenance procedures may void warranties.

MEDIA RELEASE & PROMOTIONAL USE

By signing this agreement, the customer acknowledges and agrees that True North Auto Salon may capture photos and videos of their vehicle during the wrap process. This content may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, print advertising, and other marketing materials.

  • License plates may be visible in content, but True North Auto Salon will make reasonable efforts to avoid displaying them where possible.

  • Customers may be tagged in social media posts upon request.

  • No compensation will be provided for the use of photos/videos featuring the customer's vehicle.

The customer waives any rights to inspect or approve the final content and releases True North Auto Salon from any claims related to the use of such media.

Touch-Ups & Repairs

  • True North Auto Salon will repair any lifting or peeling issues within a 6-month window, provided the wrap was properly maintained.

  • Warranty repairs do not include non-OEM painted surfaces or damages caused by the customer.

  • Any additional touch-ups beyond warranty coverage will be subject to standard labor costs.

Vehicle Condition Prior to Wrap Installation

  • The vehicle's interior and exterior must be clean prior to drop-off to prevent contamination during installation. No waxing or polishing is necessary.

  • True North Auto Salon will wash and prep the vehicle before wrapping.

  • The customer must remove all valuables from the vehicle before drop-off. True North Auto Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen items left inside the vehicle.

Drop-Off, Storage, & Pickup Policy

  • Full wraps are typically completed within 7 days, unless otherwise specified.

  • Customers must pick up their vehicle upon completion. If the vehicle is not picked up within the agreed-upon timeframe, a storage fee of $150/day will be applied unless otherwise specified.

Payment Terms & Deposit Policy

  • A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to book the wrap service.

  • The remaining balance is due upon vehicle pickup. Failure to make final payment may result in legal action or vehicle retention until payment is received.

Liability Release & Indemnification

  • True North Auto Salon is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to vehicle downtime, loss of income, or delays.

  • The customer acknowledges that vinyl wraps are a semi-permanent modification and assumes all risks associated with the installation and removal process.

  • The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless True North Auto Salon from any claims, damages, or liabilities related to the wrap service.

Dispute Resolution & Legal Agreement

  • Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be resolved through mediation before pursuing legal action.

  • This waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and True North Auto Salon. No verbal agreements or modifications will be recognized unless documented in writing.
